great signing : Coventry City manager has discusses the possibilities of the transfer…..

The Coventry City manager acknowledges Callum O’Hare and discusses the possibilities of a January transfer.

CoventryLive brings you the most recent analysis of Callum O’Hare’s short- and long-term prospects in Coventry City contract and transfer news.

Callum O’Hare is “focused” on helping Coventry City reach their goals this season, according to Mark Robins, but he hasn’t ruled out the potential of his departing during the current transfer window.

The head coach of the Sky Blues, though, acknowledges that the star midfielder’s future is now solely in his and his agent’s hands and believes there’s a 50/50 chance he’ll sign a new deal to stay at the CBS Arena past the end of the season, when he could leave on a free transfer.

“Look, everyone knows that Callum is out of contract and there’s a lot of speculation around it, and that will continue until he makes his decision public,” Robins responded when asked if the team had any more plans regarding the player’s future. In actuality, though, he has received an offer for a contract—and a pretty nice one at that. That’s all I have to say about it; in the end, he is free to decide what is best for his future.

It is totally up to him if he chooses to go on. He is aware of our intentions to keep him around. But in the end, he needs to make a choice. He is only now beginning to make his way back after being absent for nearly a year. When his contract expires in the summer, he will be free to pursue other interests. When he’s good and ready, his agent, who will have his own ideas, will make that decision. Who knows, maybe he’s made it already?

“He’s in our squad and I think, really, we just have to get on with what we have and the depth that I have been given,” the manager asserts, indicating that he intends to use O’Hare going forward if he maintains his current form. If he continues to play at a high level, he will be added to the matchday teams as usual.

“However, everyone on the team needs to work hard to earn their spot because we want to advance as a team and, if we succeed, we’d like to join the Premier League alongside many other clubs. And carry it out in a regulated manner and as soon as we are able to.

In the end, circumstances can sometimes be under your control and other times they are not. There’s nothing more to say about it because he is in charge of his future and will make that decision when the time comes. He’s giving a really strong performance.
