Explained: The Reason The Inter Milan Midfielder Is Still Awaiting Leicester City Transfer
While both teams work out a formula for the agreement, Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi is still waiting to complete his move to Leicester City.

The January transfer window is coming to an end in a few days. Additionally, Sensi, a 28-year-old midfielder for Sassuolo, is still at Inter.

The majority of January has been devoted to the Nerazzurri and Leicester discussing a potential transfer.

Sensi has been a significant target for the Foxes. Enzo Maresca, their coach, has expressly requested that his team

pursue the international Italian.

Sensi is also in favor of the change.

Inter, meanwhile, would have no problem making a quick money off of a player who is nearing the end of his contract and is on the fringes of their plans.

According to all accounts, the two teams have been moving quickly to wrap up their talks.

Sensi hasn’t finished the relocation as of yet, though.

Stefano Sensi Still Needs To Complete Leicester Move As Clubs Work Out Transfer Formula FCIN1908 notes that Inter and Leicester are still unable to come to a firm decision regarding Sensi’s transfer terms.

According to the outlet, the Foxes are seeking an initial loan with a purchase obligation subject to specific requirements.

The Premier League winners from 2015–16 could more easily afford this.
There wouldn’t be any financial difficulties for Leicester if they were to sign Sensi on loan and then have a purchase obligation that is contingent upon being promoted to the English top division.

If, however, the agreement is permanent, Leicester may run into issues should they miss out on promotion.

Sensi would be prepared to prolong his contract in order to make a loan move possible.

However, Inter adamantly wants to sell the midfield player for cash.
