Former Jazz star Carlos Boozer charms, inspires Utah audience during speaking appearance at ‘Voices’ event

Boozer answered questions from the crowd, helping Jazz fans experience an exciting time in the team’s history, and gave tales, stories, and motivation from his playing days.

MURRAY: Carlos Boozer was a formidable player in the NBA who was renowned for his brutal dunks and rough play in the paint.

After retiring, the 42-year-old Boozer has become slightly more mellow and now spends his days having tea parties with his daughter, who is in preschool.

“You girl dads all understand what I mean!” In Murray, Boozer roared at the crowd that had gathered to hear him speak on Wednesday night as part of the “Voices” event, which presents itself as “conversations with some of today’s most inspirational and influential voices.”

In addition to spoiling his young daughter, Boozer spends a lot of time watching his twin sons, Cameron and Cayden, who are both junior basketball players and rank among the top prospects in the class of 2025. Cameron, a power forward like his All-Star father, is the nation’s No. 2 overall recruit, while point guard Cayden is ranked No. 17. The charismatic former Utah Jazz star spoke on parenting, his recently released memoir, and much more in his 90 minutes onstage with KSL-TV anchor Debbie Worthen, who served as the event moderator.

Boozer went on, “I just tell them to stay true to who they are, stay humble, keep grinding, go hard, and listen.” “A major issue facing this generation is the belief held by many young athletes that older people who offer advice to them are “hating on them.” As a result, I advise my kids to be coachable and to not assume that people are giving them advice because they dislike you or your work; rather, they are merely attempting to help you improve.”
