SAD NEWS : Nottingham Forest boss sack a key player due to ….

Djed Spence wasn’t always happy at Middlesbrough; he wasn’t able to leave a lasting impression at Tottenham Hotspur or Leeds United, but he was a huge success at Nottingham Forest.

Spence is currently on loan from Tottenham Hotspur to Genoa. The Italian club acquired the right-back during the January transfer window. In the summer of 2023, the Serie A team will have the opportunity to finalise the agreement.

Djed Spence spent the early part of the season on loan with Leeds United. The Championship team used a break clause to send the right-back back to Spurs, even though it was anticipated that he would remain at Elland Road until the conclusion of the season.

The young player has now acknowledged that his time at Nottingham Forest was his best period of play thus far. The former England Under-21 player has mentioned how Steve Cooper, the Forest manager at the time, brought out the best in him.

The defender has also expressed his opinion over the decision made by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis to remove Cooper from his managerial position in December and appoint Nuno, a former manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur, in his place.
