The BC Lions reported on Thursday they have marked American linebacker Joe Beckett. He was a part of the Winnipeg Blue Aircraft through preparing camp and preseason final year in spite of the fact that he was discharged in the midst of last list cuts.
Joe Beckett – Wofford (24 y/o, 6’2, 240)
Joe Beckett played his collegiate ball at Wofford College. He played in 53 recreations with 28. He recorded 183 career handles, 14.5 handles for a misfortune, 7.5 sacks, a constrained mishandle, and a mishandle returned for a landing. In his last season in 2021, he amassed 35 solo handles, 45 helped handles, 4 TFLs, a bobble recuperation, and a landing.
On his professional day in 2022, he ran a 4.56 40-yard sprint, a 36-inch vertical, a 10-foot wide hop, a 4.53-second 20-yard carry, and a 7.41-second 3-cone bore.
Taking after his collegiate career he was welcomed to a rookie camp with the Unused York Mammoths in 2022. He marked with the Winnipeg Blue Planes ahead of the 2023 season and recorded 4 handles in 2 preseason recreations but was discharged among last program cuts.
