Things are beginning to look up for the Indiana Fever.
After starting their season with a 1-8 record, the Fever have now won 4 of their last 6 games and are starting to string some impressive performance together before they head in the road later this month.
A major reason for this success has been the chemistry built between Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston. These two consecutive No. 1 picks in the 2023 and 2024 WNBA Draft are quickly learning to play with each other, and complement the other person’s game.
And Clark spoke out about this chemistry during an interview before the Fever’s game on Wednesday.
“You can even see me and Aliyah [Boston] having a better connection,” Clark said in the interview when asked about what has gone into the Fever’s recent success.
“Reading where each other is gonna be, reading each other’s eyes a little bit better,” Clark continued. “I think it’s just that connection, and you build that through playing together.”
Clark and Boston will look to keep building upon that strong connection when the Fever face the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
