The Los Angeles Lakers may not win a ton of playoff games next season, but that won’t prevent their stars from living their best life.
Following a successful trip to Paris, Olympic champion Anthony Davis took his talents to Mexico City, this time to hang out with Floyd Mayweather.
The legendary boxer was about to face John Gotti III in an exhibition bout.
As shown by LakeShowYo on Twitter, Mayweather had Davis by his side as he was walking out to the ring.
The fight went just as planned and just as most of Mayweather’s recent fights have gone.
The rounds were mostly uneventful, with Mayweather dominating his inexperienced opponent with ease.
Perhaps the most remarkable moment of the entire bout, besides Anthony Davis’ presence, was when Mayweather pretty much removed the referee from the ring and had him replaced mid-fight.
As for Davis, he’ll have his work cut out for him next season.
Once again, he’ll be expected to lead the way for the Lakers, as LeBron James isn’t getting any younger and will need as much help as he can possibly get.
Hopefully, he’ll be able to avoid injury and stay on the court.
