BREAKING NEWS: He Is Back; John Force announce his return…

Brittany Force Announces Racing Return As Father John Force Makes ‘Great Progress’

Brittany Force, two-time NHRA Top Fuel champion, has announced she will be returning to racing at the imminent NHRA Northwest Nationals in Kent, Washington. Brittany had skipped the last race in Norwalk, Ohio, attending to her father, John Force, after he suffered a traumatic brain injury during a harrowing crash in Virginia in June. John Force, a revered figure in Funny Car racing, is currently recovering in a rehabilitation facility, showing signs of significant progress.

Brittany Force’s reentry into racing couldn’t come at a more crucial time. She will be commandeering her Flav-R-Pac Chevrolet Top Fuel Dragster, aiming to secure her position in the NHRA’s Countdown to the Championship Playoffs. She is currently just 50 points ahead of her close competitor, Josh Hart.

The accident involving her father, which saw his Funny Car explode and smash into the barrier, has evidently been a huge emotional strain on the family. Sharing an update ahead of her return from John Force Racing, she said:

“I’m glad to get back to the racetrack after a tough few weeks. It has been a rollercoaster of emotions for our family since Richmond, but my dad has made great progress and we are all so proud of him. He has transferred now to a rehabilitation center closer to home.
