Sha’Carri Richardson’s Surprising Omission from Netflix Project has Fans Outraged
to make a Season 2. Debuting on Nov. 13, the second season of “Sprint” will feature plenty of the world’s top track and field stars but with one notable omission: two-time Olympic medalist Sha’Carri Richardson, who was one of the key figures of the first season having a full episode dedicated to her gold-medal victory in the 100m event at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest.
Richardson won gold in the 4×100-meter relay and silver in the 100 meters at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She’s one of the most-recognizable names in the running world today and was one of the stars of Season 1, so her snub from the second season of the popular show has fans scratching their heads.
